This week we have been working a lot on our al la seconde turns during practice. Here is a great blog post the coach from Stansbury High School put together to help you practice your turns at home. Read through it and then practice your hearts out! You will need to be able to do at least a clean set of 8 in order to be in our Jazz routine this year.

Parents BBQ Tonight!

Don't forget that tonight is the parents BBQ at 6:00 p.m. Each of you should have been assigned something to bring. Come for food, games, and fun! We are excited to see you all there! If you have any questions, please feel free to text or call me. Thanks!

Reminders

Don't forget:

1- Your Domino's cards and money are due to the finance office on Monday, May 16. If you lose your cards, then you must pay $10 for each one.

2- The calendar says that $200 is due on Friday. I will extend that deadline until Monday when the fundraiser money is also do. You may apply your profit to your $200, but only your PROFIT. Even though you sell each card for $10, your profit is $8. If you sell all 10 of your cards, your total profit is  $80. You would still owe $120 by Monday.

3- Stop by my room either Monday or Wednesday next week to try on our warm-ups. If you don't, then we will guess the best size for you.

4- If I don't have your physical yet, I need it asap.

"Delivering the Dough" Fundraiser!

We are excited to give you a little more information about our upcoming Fundraiser! We have been working closely with our local Domino's Pizza and are excited to host a fundraiser through them!

"Delivering the Dough" cards

• Card has several "coupons" on it - 2x free pizza with a purchase of another pizza plus several free breadsticks, desserts, etc.
• We will sell the cards for $10.00.
• We have worked out a special deal! Each card will cost us $2.00, giving you a $8.00 profit from every single card you sell!

 We will go over all of the details during our Mandatory meeting Monday, May 9th at 7 am in the lecture hall! Come with questions and we will come with answers. Feel free to begin spreading the word about this awesome fundraiser to your friends and family!

Schedule Changes Update!!!

The Uniform Fitting has been changed to Tuesday! All dancers must be to the Mandatory Uniform Fitting on Tuesday, May 10th at 2:30 p.m. in Mrs. Payne's class room!

Also, please note that there will not be any practice next week. Practice will begin June 6th as scheduled.
