Wanted to pass on an email that I recieved:
Hello Coaches,
If you have any dancers that are interested in doing the Miss Drill Utah Pageant, there is a workshop that will be held on November 1st immediately following the ALL-STATE audition. The cost is $10.00, parents are encouraged to come with them. We will go over all of the details about modeling, interview/onstage question, solo, humanitarian project, and much more. If you have dancers that are not an All-State representative then just tell them to come after the audition ( not sure what time that would be, maybe you can keep them posted as the night goes on). Remember that there is a TEEN category for those that are not 16 years old by the pageant date, so please send them also. The actual Miss Drill Utah Pageant is FEB. 9th (Thursday late afternoon and evening) at Juan Diego Catholic HS. Mark your calendars!!! It's an event you won't want to miss!!
All-state auditions are Nov 1st starting at 3:00 pm at Juab High School. You can find out more information about the Miss Drill Competition at http://www.uddsc.com
Please let me know if you are interested in doing Miss Drill and planning on attending the clinic - it is a great opportunity for all of our dancers!
Thanks!

Waspette of the Week - McKinley!
A big congrats to our new Waspette of the Week - McKinley Peterson! McKinley is a Freshman this year and is a fantastic asset to the team. She shows up every single day on time, awake, and positive. She is not only here physically, but mentally as well. her energy is contagious and lights up the whole gym. One of my favorite things about McKinley is that she puts 100% into her facials every time - seriously every single time! I can't help but watch her because she looks like she is having so much fun! Thank you McKinley for your hard work and dedication! We love you!

Waspette of the Week!
Sorry that the blog has been neglected lately - I will work hard to catch up! One thing that I don't want to miss is honoring our first two Waspettes of the Week! The coaches honor one dancer a week who exemplifies what it means to be a Waspette. We have so many fantastic dancers and this is one way we can spread the news about what these dancers are doing! So, without further adieu . . .
Our first Waspette of the Week - McKall!
Our first Waspette of the Week - McKall!
- McKall was chosen as Waspette of the Week because of her hard work, dedication, and humble attitude. McKall is always at practice on time and ready to work hard. She practices full out and with all of her energy every single time - plus she will consistently practice during breaks, too! One thing that especially impresses me is McKall's focus on what she can do to improve herself and the team. She goes out of her way to ask the coaches about things that she can work on individually. Thanks and congrats McKall!
- Darci was chosen as this week's Waspette of the Week because of her commitment to the team and quiet positivity. Darci comes to practice every day with a smile. She works hard, focusing on the things that she can personally fix. She is individually responsible and completely dependable. We always know that Darci will learn what she needs to learn, fix what she needs to fix, and perform how she needs to perform without being pushed. She brings humor, joy, and originality to the team. Thanks for just being you, Darci!

Football, Bowling, and other Goodies!
Hey there! First off, it was fun to see many of the parents at the Hazens photo shoot! Public shout out to Catherine's mom Cheryl for feeding the girls - the pizza was much appreciated! Now, on to other goodies:
Good News! There will be tons of room on the cheer bus tomorrow for the football game! The cheerleaders have invited the drill team to attend. If you would like to go, you can earn a MERIT for wearing your LOVE shirt and jacket, riding the bus, sitting in the stands together, AND cheering with the cheerleaders! The bus will leave at 5:00 and be back around 11:00. I would really love as many girls as possible to go and support our groups!
The Bowling Tournament is this weekend! Your girls (and you) have been assigned a shift. You can check these shifts here . Girls, please wear your jeans, LOVE shirts, and jackets. Thanks ahead of time for your help!
Finally, it looks like we will not be attending Nationals this year. Underclassmen - please plan ahead because I would LOVE to go next year! :)
Also, I just want to give a big thank you to all of the girls for working so hard on Military! You guys rock my socks off!
