WASPETTE of the Week

This weeks WOW is none other than the team captain herself Linnea!
She is a lover of Cafe Rio and Swedish Fish

You may not know this about Linea but she not quite five feet tall.  In her tiny little body is an extreme love of dancing.  When asked what she  enjoys most about being a Waspette she enthusiastically replied, "THE  GIRLS! I LOVE THE GIRLS!" A perfect reply for the leader of the team. Here she is leading the team in a mid practice cheer.

You can find linea rockin out to Party rock anthem, and if she had to pick a style of dance it would be Hip Hop.  Someday Linea hopes to travel to Paris France.  Before traveling, she wants to go to college to become a nurse, then serve a mission.

When asked about something that is unique about her she giggled and said, "The thought of having a baby terrifies me."

She is a great leader and is 100% dedicated to the team. She represents the team with maturity, class, and intelligence. She is exactly the leader that this team needs, and she does a fantastic job! Thank you, Linnea!

Co-ed Music

Co-ed music is now on the music page!

Welcome to our team!

We have been very, very lucky to add another assistant to our Waspette family! I want to take this opportunity to officially welcome Mimi McDonald to the team! She will be working very closely with both Jordan and I to make the team and year the very very best it can be! Mimi is a graduate from Wasatch High where she danced under Kara Lynne for several years! She has extensive dance training and is also skilled in blogging/photography. She has four children and lives locally. She is excited to get her hands dirty and involved . . . and we can't wait to utilize her! Welcome to our family!

When we aren't dancing . . .

Every once in awhile we get a second to something other than dance! These pictures date all the way back to Homecoming Week (I know, they are very belated!).

Waspette of the Week - Hailey!

Congrats to Hailey, our new Waspette of the Week! Although a Freshman this year, you would never be able to tell it by walking into our practices. Her technique is amazing, but what stands out the most is her confidence. She is not afraid to try new things, take criticism, and learn from her mistakes. She is confident enough to come right to the front row and dance her guts out. This makes her look and act like a veteran dancer both on and off the floor. Thank you, Hailey, for sharing your fantastic dancing, attitude, and personality with us! We love you!
